The foxes in lif are red foxes; a common species of canine that is found across eurasia and the americas. They are oppurtunist hunters that seek out small or injured animals as prey. In lif the Ai functions similar to this and players in multiplayer servers also commonly act in this manner due to the foxes fraility but considerable speed.

In lif foxes serve as the lowest tier of carnivore with wolves and bears being their supereiors in combat. But in no way are foxes weak; a fox can put up quite a fight if confronted and leave the attacker severely wounded. Foxes are also the second smallest animal slightly bigger than the rabbit. Foxes also own the role as the fastest animal in lif; able to outmanoever any other animal.

Foxes are carnivores, making them one of the hardest animals to survive as, as a fox you must scavenge or hunt for meat in order to survive yet due to its minimal strength it has a much harder time than larger predators.

Out of the two holes found in the forest and heath one of them is accessible by the fox; that is the foxes den. It should be noted that bunnys can enter this hole aswell but it would be unlikely for them to as they could get eaten.
